Providing your loved ones with the assistance they need

PCA training is a certification for Personal Care Aide given to individuals that would like to work in a residential home and in-home care setting but with no experience. Here is the overview of the program and how LSH will train the potential individuals who are looking for a kickstart career in health care.

You can become a licensed PCA with our PCA Certification for FREE (300-hours of work commitment with our agency is required.)

We have our 43-hour class that is an efficient combination of in-person skills evaluation and online training at your own pace!

2 days of in-office skills demonstration + 30 hours of online training!

Start your rewarding career in the health care industry by becoming a licensed Personal Care Aide! PCAs provide their services in a residential home setting in order to help adults and children with special needs and assistance with the essential activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping. A PCA observes and documents clinical treatment, record vital signs such as blood pressure, assist with range-of-motion exercises, respiration, pulse, and temperature. They also provide companionship and emotional support to the client and their family members. The 43 hours of PCA coursework we have includes basic human anatomy, medical terminology, basic math skills, communication skills, caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, homemaker skills, and hands-on experience with real patients in a health care setting. For the fact that we also operate our own home health care agency, we create opportunities for immediate caregiver employment after certification!
